There are times when you want to assign a personal ringtone to one or few contacts on your phone like your spouse, parents, special friend, or business contact so that you can distinguish between calls from a random number and call from someone special. The following are the steps to set up a personalized ringtone to your contacts.

  1. Tap on the phone or contacts.
  2. Then tap on the contact for whom you want to set up a personal ringtone.
  3. Then tap on Edit. You can see a pencil sign or Edit written at the top-right corner of the screen.
  4. Click on ‘View more’ and scroll down to locate ‘Ringtone.’
  5. You can select a ringtone from the list. If you want to set a music file as a ringtone, then you need to click on ‘Add ringtone.’
  6. After that, click on ‘Sound picker.’
  7. Then select the music you want to choose as ringtone and tap on Done. Then tap on ‘Save.’ It will set up a personalized ringtone for a particular contact.
